Reviews
Amazing sushi and tempura in the heart of Paris. It was one of the best we've tried in Europe. We went there for lunch on a Tuesday, it was packed, and the service was amazing. The ingredients were all fresh and delicious, sushi rolls were special, not the regular rolls you would get somewhere else. Highly recommended!
5-star flavors, 4-star services, 3-star value of money.
The creativity of the maki was definitely outstanding. My personal favorite was the maki with salmon and mandarin. The refreshment of the mandarin removed the greasiness of the salmon and brings out the umami of the fish. The shrimp truffle maki was also great, I was worried the truffle would be too overwhelming yet it complimented the shrimps flavors. The starters were nice as well, with deep fried lotus and crackers adding complexity of the texture of the raw fish meats.
The service was very slow unfortunately, we waited for half an hour to get our starters, and another half an hour for the maki. We didn’t get full with the dishes we ordered but we didn’t order more because we had an appointment later that day and couldn’t wait too much longer. If you want to get full with maki and starters, I would say around 80euro per person is needed.
cute interiors and great food! but the service could improve. went on a weekday and understandably the resto is full. we ordered our desserts but we’ve waited 50 mins and still hasn’t arrived even after asking for a follow up twice, so we decided to leave as it was too long of a wait.
Great sushi, quality products, amazing service. Especially enjoyed the toro tuna. Was previously in 2017 and I’d say that the food was even better this time! Strongly suggest the mochi, was great.
With a reservation and an empty restaurant when we arrived we were seated next to the only people in the restaurant…
Otherwise the food was great! Will return
We needed a break from traditional French food and Blueberry Maki Bar was such an awesome choice. A bit pricey for what you get overall, but you are in Paris. Make sure to make a reservation because this place is so good it gets booked fast. I usually would not recommend sushi in Europe....but Blueberry Maki Bar is a must try in Paris. Not only was every cut a fish super fresh, but the combinations of maki rolls were the stars of the show. The restaurant and sushi bar have a cool and comfortable decor, and you feel hip in this spot 🤪.
We had a sushi combo and a Shira shi bowl that were both fantastic. Classics with modern preparations that tasted great. We also had two Maki roles. One was a crab and tuna roll that had a spicy sauce and it was just good. The second roll was a white fish roll with shisho and truffles.....omg!!! This roll was out of control good with so many layers of flavor. The presentation was worthy of a Michelin star! If you are traveling in France and need some new flavors to eat I can't recommend Blueberry Maki enough.... Hope you enjoy!!!!
Visited twice one year apart and quality of sushi remains fantastic. Great Japanese inspired cocktails too. Perfect place for a night out with friends. Only annoyance is the short seating…at this price point that is a bit cheeky…
Waiter somehow got annoyed with us talking in English and requested we talk “less loud.” Then he asked us to leave as the table was needed for the next patrons. We stood up and saw 5-6 empty tables. French patrons were not asked to leave. …
